Tafts strives to exceed expectations by creating high-quality products and standing by them. All of our products come with a 1-Year Limited Warranty to protect the customer from any unexpected manufacturer defects.
If you find that your Tafts product is defective because of a manufacturer fault, Tafts guarantees that, at Tafts discretion, it will replace or refund the product. This warranty will not be valid if Tafts determines that the products have been abused, damaged or neglected*.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear(?) from washing and intended usage. Tafts will cover to-and-from shipping if it is determined to be a manufacturer defect, else the responsibility lies with the purchaser.
Any and all replacement products sent are subject to the same limited warranty as the original Tafts product, and the warranty coverage of the replaced Tafts product will be the date of purchase of the original Tafts product.
If you do experience any manufacturing defects, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your Amazon Order ID to begin a warranty claim.
(?)The following are not covered by the warranty:
- Piling, loose threads, bodily fluid stains etc.
Hand wash silk pillowcases inside out in cold water to maximize the lifetime of your silk pillowcase OR Machine wash cold (or just one level above cold) on gentle cycle/silk mode, with a mesh laundry bag separate from other fabrics.
ALWAYS Use a mild neutral liquid detergent OR silk-specific detergents.
Do not soak dark-colored silk for more than five minutes. Wash separately and do not mix with other harsher fabrics.
Do not tumble dry. Use a towel to soak up any excess moisture after washing, then hang up your silk pillowcase to air dry
NEVER use bleach products as they will cause the silk to yellow.
Do not iron your silk pillowcase. Wrinkles in silk should disappear with time however if you do need to iron your silk pillowcase, use a low setting without steam and iron the pillowcase inside-out while it is damp.
You can also add a few drops of hair conditioner or white vinegar to the rinse water to help keep the silk as soft and smooth as the day you bought it.
Wash your Bamboo Sheets by themselves in cold water (Max. 30C OR 86F) on a gentle cycle.
Washing your sheets separately from other fabrics is very important because more abrasive fabrics, zippers, fasteners, hooks, etc can cause piling and wear.
Avoid washing your sheets with towels or blankets because it can cause them to become covered with lint.
If you use a stain remover, we recommend testing it on the bamboo fabric bag your bedding comes in to make sure the product won’t damage the fabric.
We recommend that you line dry your bamboo sheets to get the most out of them. However, most people will put them in the dryer. If you are one of those people, make sure you choose the lowest heat setting and a low tumble cycle.
These sheets WILL wrinkle. You can prevent this by taking your sheets out of the dryer immediately after they finish. Drape them for a few hours if you have to. Iron them at a low temperature if you need to.
The sateen weave of these sheets means that they are more prone to wrinkling and tearing than your regular twill-woven cotton sheets, but the trade-off is that they will be WAY softer than almost any other sheets.
